• The River Avon and the Kennet and Avon Canal are within 1/2 mile of the house.
• The neighbourhood has a plentiful supply of good restaurants and pubs - one within 5 minutes' walk (The Crown at the foot of the hill). 

	Eagle House is at the centre of the lovely stone village of Bathford on the very southern fringes of the Cotswolds. It is in a Conservation area and in olden days was known as the "Walled Village of Somerset" The 5 minute walk to the excellent local pub " The Crown" takes in these views.
	Good food and good beer both readily available in the village or very close by. This pub is 2 minutes by car and enjoys amazing views over the Avon valley - the food is pretty tasty too.. ! The Swan
The Crown is our excellent"local" serving good beer and great food and is open all day. It is less than than 5 minutes on foot and from here every 20 minutes there's a bus into Bath.
	This is the excellent Fox & Hounds Pub 2 minutes up the road by car and is one of the 3 "locals" within easy distance of Eagle House. We are spoilt for choice !
